We are very gratified to learn that you are yourself willing to represent the General Medical Council on the Hong Kong University Advisory Committee.
Briefly the functions of this Committee may be taken as tendering advice on the question of whether or not the University of Hong Kong as such should continue to exist and if so the policy which should govern its resuscitation and secondly to advise in such detail on the steps necessary to restart such of the work hitherto undertaken by the University as is essential for the needs of Hong Kong whatever the decision arrived at on the broader issue.
This ad hoc Advisory Committee,
Sir Herbert Eason, C.B., C.M.G., M.D., M.S., F.R.C.S., J.P.
